"Careful with those pots!"

Photo: Gordon Ballard 6.25.09

This is year # 2 using this really fun configuration of terracotta pots.

We found this plan online and it originally called for only 4 pots but since we always try to do things better and bigger in our garden we added a fifth pot to the top.

Million Bells and Wave petunias create the perfect spill over effect that this whimsical creation cries out for.

platypussy writes: How is this actually done?

Do you use rebar or some other type of metal pipe?

Where might I find the plans to make one?

Thanks,

I am going to do the same next year as for 3 years now I have been trying to fill an odd spot with some flowering vines for color and it took so long for them to mature that the spot always looked lacking. I plant calabrochia, (the little petunia-like flowers that you have in your pots), in mounted pots on either side of my garden gate and folks just love them and always ask what they are so they are again a great choice since they come in so many colors and bloom so profusely all season long. Great job!
