Fragrant and beautiful, 'Anouk' is an excellent compact lavender for hot and dry locations. It grows as an upright to spreading evergreen perennial or shrub and originates from regions across the Mediterranean. In late spring to midsummer it produces many slender, upright stems topped with oval spikes of densely clustered dark plum flowers punctuated with plumes of violet-blue bracts. These contrast nicely with its soft, linear, gray-green leaves.
