Although Penstemon heterophyllus Margarita BOP has an infusion of red-purple, it makes the flowers look almost iridescent.
Penstemon heterophyllus Margarita BOP lit by the morning sun and backed by native Yucca glauca.
Although siberian iris Caesars Brother is an older hybrid, I still love it.
Its too bad that irises last such a short time. But at least I have the photos.
Scutellaria resinosa has got to be one of the cutest plants ever. Flowers look like little pika faces looking out, and the plants bloom all summer on compact mounds.

I love blue flowers, especially when they reflect the big blue New Mexico skies.
