woodland plant
comments (5) May 6th, 2009 in galleryIs this a true woodland plant? It also looks similar to a poisonous plant called water hemlock or poison oak. The stem is fuzzy and the white flowers are similar to small queen annes lace. My garden is in Northwest Indiana.

It is DEFINATELY not poison oak. As a native of California who suffered miserable consequences of getting too close to poison oak, several times as a child, I can tell you that is not poison oak.
I don't think it is water hemlock or cowbane either as the leaves ar not narrow enough. Posted: 10:00 pm on May 8th
