The pool deck and hardscape was shaped using poured concrete in a square pattern. Dwarf Mondo Grass was planted between the crevices to aid in patio drainage, keeping the surface cooler during the warm summer, and adding to the relaxed and natural appeal of the space. Indian stone products, such as granite and fieldstone were also used in hardscaping throughout the property. Creeping groundcover plantings, terra cotta potted containers, ornamental grasses, and small trees grace the landscape for an intimate and private atmosphere. The landscape utilizes several Xeriscaping practices to keep the atmosphere as self-sustaining as possible such as using recycled materials, native plantings and amending the soil with organic matter and using mulch when possible.

CoolGreenGardens writes: The area has a very nice ambiance and seems like a great place to spend a summer day. Where is it located? Looks like a palm tree in the corner, so I'm guessing it's not upstate New York! Posted: 6:52 pm on April 30th
