Bleeding Heart Beauty
comments (0) March 8th, 2009 in gallery
I found the original in a pot that had been inadvertently left in the garage and never watered. Still, it had sprung to life with gorgeous flowers! Since planting it under a cedar, this beautiful dicentra is one of the first to push through the ground in the spring. In fact, it is coming up now! Unfortunately, the cedar had to be removed, but the bleeding heart still thrives in our mild Oregon weather in morning sun up to July, when it finally is time to be cut back.
