Come spring, the robins will come and gorge themselves on these beauties!
My Pink Flowering Crabapple was the most beautiful its ever been last spring, just covered in blooms! But in winter, with a shiny ice coating; Ahh! Especially on a rare clear day.
Too cold & icy for bluebirds!
Dead grass, but so beautiful!
This is actually not in my backyard, but in the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness in Colorado, where I was in Nov. The hoar frost on the trees was just gorgeous!

Taken in my Northern IN backyard after an ice storm in December. Except for #5, which I'd taken in November while on vacation, driving through Colorado.
