We've had a lot of snow this year, in our little valley. The deer have had to look a bit harder for food. We love watching them. This young deer has been around a lot lately, and we don't mind sharing! In fact we have hung apple slices on that evergreen for her. I imagine the hosta will suffer more in the spring, since we're encouraging the deer... perhaps we'll have to think of something less tasty to replace them with.
