Winter Haven
comments (1) January 19th, 2009 in gallery
This is a photo of my back yard studio and garden, taken in December 2008. It is all new: the first day after the first snowfall of the year, and the first year of the garden's existence. A year before the back yard was mostly lawn. To me the photo is inspiring both in terms of the forms and colours of the garden in winter, but also in terms of the transformation of the yard into rooms and spaces of year-round interest!
