Winters in Toronto have been very snowy this year and last - as can be seen from the photos. I've been designing the front and side gardens with more of an eye to winter interest, and the newest additions are 10 malus 'red sargeant' that form an allee along the south side of our house. They have really stolen the show. We are in Canadian Zone 6A (5 according to USDA).
