The seeds were supposed to produce 3 foot high cosmos.  The leaves are different than regular cosmos too.
These are the leaves to the Cosmos.  The seeds were packaged for Burpee in Germany.  Do you recognize what the plants really are.
Seeds on Cosmo plants.
Planting potatoes 12-20-08.  Lettuce growing in background as well as Nasturtiums.

We planted the "Cosmos" seeds behind of marigolds and Vincas.  According to the package they were to be 3 foot tall.  We cut them back after they grew beyond the 6 foot high awnings.  When the plants come up they are simular to marigold plants.  They would be goo plants to cover fences or building walls.

posted in: The Gallery, "Cosmos"? 7 foot tall.
