This is my dry, hummingbird garden in Los Angeles.  I grow succulents, mediterranean plants, natives and 50% of my garden is edible! Walk and eat through the garden of eden!!
This is the view that I look out to every morning from my bedroom. The hummingbirds put on quite a show as they chase each other and finally land on the columns.
This is one of the edible gardens that I design and maintain for clients. This garden belongs to a professional chef and she loves to use the fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit from her garden.
This is a Literacy garden I created for an elementary school. It includes a mounded, red fescue lawn where the kids sit and read and features ornamental grasses and a colbalt blue river made from recycled, tumbled glass.  Hopefully, the garden transports them to a place where all dreams are possible!
I rely on easy care, low water plants to put on a show in my garden.  Im a professional garden designer and garden coach and  I dont have much time to fuss over my own garden. My plants were carefully selected for their low maintenance qualities.

My garden is in Sunset zone 10a and we enjoy a long growing season here in Los Angeles. Im a professional garden designer and gardening coach. I incorporate edible plants in most all my gardens and also create dedicated gardens just for culinary plants. I have the best job in the world and am excited that I'm able to share my joy for gardening as a garden television host and speaker. How did I get so lucky?!!

Gardens are a portal to life's greatest treasures and pleasures.
