Love this but have no idea what it's called!

I bought this at a local nursery and I love it but not sure on the care of it...wanna keep it year after year!

If it is spreading in a clump you might want to search a bit on harvesting some ginger root. I would love to be able to grow this but I am in Victoria, BC and it is pretty marginal here for ginger. I plan to try next year anyway. Posted: 11:19 am on October 25th
