Ternstroemia gymnanthera

I first posted this image in August 2012, but while the photo elicited many comments, it failed to elicit the plant's actual identity. By chance I have just now learned what it is: Ternstroemia gymnanthera, otherwise know as Cleyera japonica. For further information (and photos) please visit: http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/shrubs/ternstroemia_gymnanthera.html
