Fine Gardening asked the experts at Fine Homebuilding to design and build a garden shed that was a little different. From the solid plank floors to the timber-frame look, we went back to the basics without expensive materials or the high skill level required with traditional timber-frame joinery.

Watch Senior Fine Homebuilding Editor Justin Fink demonstrate the phases of construction of this unique backyard shed and give you tips and techniques to aid in your own shed project.
