This is a plant that we found in a garden that we thought was a sunflower but it isn't. If you have any ideas of what it might be then let me know!! Thanks!

That looks like Velvetleaf to me. I had one in my yard earlier this summer. They can get about 5 feet tall. It's considered an intrusive weed, because the seeds can remain viable for 50 years. I thought it was a pretty plant and I transplanted it to a pot with very nice soil, where it quickly died.
