Today's photos are from Robert Fairfax in Washington state. Robert says, "Nancy and I live in Snohomish, Washington, on 5 acres of woodland garden. I'm an artist and have made several concrete or resin sculptures and bas relief walls that are sited throughout the landscape. It is both a joy and a curse living with the many native animals that populate or visit this garden. Here are a few scenes from around the garden." Oh, I am in LOVE, Robert. I wish the plants/trees in that first picture were sharper, from what I can see I imagine they're lovely. Earlier I didn't know what to think but upon returning it struck me that I found those cement things disturbing, I appreciate artistry but I'm not a fan of that macabre scifi schitk... I know that some enjoy the occult but I don't.

My favorite picture tho is the 3rd one with the dying hosta and green Beesia - reminds me of the circle of life - as something dies another is born. Posted: 11:17 am on June 27th

meander1 writes: Robert, your artwork is stunning...the landscape pieces are mysterious and intriguing and yet very harmonious with their garden setting. The picture with the entangled tree roots and moss reminds us that Mother Nature is the ultimate artist. I visited your website and have to confess that I am not familiar with the word 'fenulent' which you use in the title of your wrinkled half globe type objects. Is it a word of your own creation?
