Photo: Courtesy of Bonnie Pancoast

Today's photos are from Bonnie Pancoast in Pennsylvania. We've visited Bonnie's garden twice before--both in the fall/winter of 2011 (refresh your memory HERE and HERE). Check out what's new above. Bonnie says, "This series of photos are of the gardens from March and May of this year. They show the various gardens that encompass our home at Valley View. It appears as though our mild winter has not only encouraged a plethora of weeds but an abundance of color, shape, and texture as well.  For those interested in additional views of the gardens and surrounding woods and wildflowers please see my blog, The Iris and the Lily. Happy Gardening!" Right back atcha, Bonnie! Thanks for another glimpse of your great garden.

bonniep53 writes: To: tractor1 It is difficult to express how your words validate what I try to create. My father was a 38 year veteran of the Bethlehem Steel. He had a 10th grade education and would always tell me he was a jack of all trades and master of none. At the age of 70 he became a Master Gardener. He was also a talented photographer who put his family first and his dream second. He passed his knowledge and love of the natural world on to me. If what I create on a shoestring budget, what I can beg borrow or pick up from the side of the road, I am a testament to my father, thank you! Posted: 6:32 pm on June 12th

bethnbijoux writes: Bonnie, the photo of the raindrop on the bleeding heart is wonderful! And you have inspired me...I am going to try sowing some columbine seeds! Posted: 6:45 am on June 8th
meander1 writes: Bonnie, I'll bet that your beautiful Dreamer is lost in thoughts of gardening and is conjuring up visions of what your next project should be! My husband sometimes finds me in a quiet thoughtful pose intently staring at an area and it's all about the gardening...what shall I do next to make things a little more pleasing.
You have many delightful spring favorites and they do such a good job of multiplying...like the hellebores, columbines, and euphorbias. Posted: 6:31 am on June 8th

MAGICAL IMAGINATIVE!

Bonnie's gardening is much better than professional, what she's created can't be learned in any classroom... Bonnie is extremely talented, a true artist!
