Pink Campanula of unknown species received as Mothers Day gift from Home Depot. Never taken care of plants before and want to learn more. In addition to identifying the plant, there are two problems desperately need help with.
Here is its leaf structure.
First worry is this bent part of the stem, its quite deeply affected and attempts to straighten it with toothpick + twist-tie have not been too successfully, right now its leaning against a wall. What can be done to maintain the plants posture or help it heal?

A worrying sign? One of the lower leaves is yellowing around the edges, should or could anything be done about this? The file size is very small and the picture is small but it refuses to be uploaded, here is where this yellowing leaf can be viewed - http://i49.tinypic.com/wkhgy8.jpg

What fertilizer can be used? We have Miracle-Gro All-Purpose but it's not the water-soluble kind for potted plants (also named "all-purpose"...) Should tap-water be left to stand overnight before watering? How moist should the soil be kept? Is the pot too small? How to deadhead this species? Please help!

Is the plant so big it needs to be repotted? The pot seems a little too small Posted: 9:37 pm on May 14th
