What is this plant?

It looks very much like henbit. Technically Henbit is Lamium amplexicaule

This is a weed and should be removed ASAP before it goes to seed. Generally just cutting it off at the soil line takes care of it. If it is tilled and broken into pieces, those pieces will form new plants.
