My husband and I tried one of those wildflower seed mixes last year. I'm not sure if this is a perennial survivor of that planting or a volunteer that showed up last year.  It's ordinarily a tidy plant which bolted from about 4" tall to 12" with tiny petaled daisy-like flowers.

i hope someone out there can identify it. Thanks!

DreamGardener writes: It's a fleabane. Aster family, wildflower in New England. There are several varieties - MIGHT be "Daisy Fleabane". They're fun until they get annoying, then you just yank 'em out! Posted: 2:46 pm on May 15th
