Today's photos (no, that first one's not photoshopped...Wow!) are from Jeffrey Ross. Jeff says, "I live in the Sonoran Desert of North Phoenix, Arizona. I started my blog, Gardening on the Moon, because compared to gardening in my former state, New Jersey, during the summer it is like gardening on the moon, i.e. very different. I have become a Master Gardener where I am very active with our yearly Real Gardens for Real People Tour and I also volunteer in the Seed Room of the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.  I visited Larnach Castle in New Zealand as part of a three-week vacation to Australia and New Zealand. The gardens were stunning even though the day  was overcast." I'll say! Thanks for taking us to the other side of the globe, Jeff.

CiCiD writes: Thank-you for sharing! I garden in New Jersey, but succulents are my plants of choice. Are those spiral aloes in your first photo? I've been babying one along, but it realizes it's out of it's element! Posted: 8:22 pm on January 17th
