Revisiting Hollister House, one has to wonder if Geoge Schoellkopf chose this stunning pot or the color on his house's shutters first. However it happened, the color echo is wonderful. On top of that, the plants echo the house color! I have a feeling the house color came first there...

pattyspencer writes: Ok - at first I wasn't seeing it but after reading the comments I too like the cobblestones and the color of the pot. I think tho that the planting is too short for the size of that pot and looks a little lost. Posted: 9:34 am on December 2nd
andrewkeys writes: I'm obsessed with the color that pot happens to be. Obsessed, I tell you! Dear Santa... Posted: 6:17 am on December 2nd
sheilaschultz writes: The shutters and the pot blend so well together, love the colors. Aside from that, this pot has the perfect shape for planting. The straight, up and down sides make for very easy transplanting. Posted: 4:21 pm on December 1st
wittyone writes: That is such a beautiful soft color. The rhyming pattern of the bricks and the pedestal and pot also create a lot of harmony. Oh, and the chartreuse of the moss on the bricks goes so nicely with the blue of the pot.

Whoever came up with this whole scheme was really thinking! Posted: 10:08 am on December 1st
