This plant?/tree was over 8 feet tall. All the leaves fell off so it was cut down to 4 feet and waited to see what happends. This is the results but what is this plant?

geoferr writes: Could be Brugmansia, commonly called Angel's Trumpet. Did those flowers open into a trumpet form? It will drop its leaves if it doesn't get enough water. Brugmansia and its relative Datura stramonium (jimsonweed) are poisonous, so be careful not to let pets and children chew on them, wash hands after handling. Posted: 5:04 pm on February 27th
