All About Starting Seeds
Shrub with lovely blue leaves
comments (2) October 3rd, 2011 in gallery
I hate it when plant labels disintegrate. This is a gorgeous shrub, purchased years ago, and finally planted this year (I am an unrecovered plantaholic). But I have no idea at all what it might be. The leaves are fairly heavy substance, and may be evergreen. I am in zone 8, and tend to push the envelope, but this has survived for years in a protected area, sitting in its little pot. I would be delighted to be able to give it its correct name.

About this Plant ID Gallery
There are many reasons why gardeners--even seasoned ones--need help identifying a plant now and then. Maybe you inherited a garden during a move to a new home, received an unknown division from a friend, found a random volunteer in the corner of a bed, or lost plant tag. Maybe you knew once, and now you just can't remember.
Luckily, Fine Gardening readers are here to help you ID unknown plants in your garden.
