Located in CA, in Bay Area, in full sun, no water. Has taken about 6 months to grow to 30".

riceke writes: Most certainly is a fig. Growth is slow for the first 2 or 3 years but watch out after that for it will grow with much gusto and fruit around the 3 or 4th year. They seem to thrive on neglect but watch out for cold below 25 degree temps. Different varieties have different cold requirements. But most are not too cold tolerant in their early years.
