tennisluv writes: I lucked into Cuban or Mexican oregano about 3 years ago. In my zone 7b, it is an annual. However, in the fall I take tip cuttings and root them (pots or water)to carry over the winter. Usually have more than enough to share with family and friends. It is great as a spiller in pots and can take full sun to partial shade. I have found it to be low maintenance plant that is really forgiving if I forget to water it. Posted: 8:50 am on August 22nd

Dutchess_of_Dahlias writes: The botanical name is Plectranthus coleiodes. If it has a very strong fragrance, ot may well be Cuban oregano. Posted: 3:02 pm on August 2nd
pinxy writes: That looks like Cuban Oregano to me. I planted it here in my zone 7 garden last year. It thrived in full shade. Posted: 6:53 am on August 2nd
