My wife had a garden last year with squash , tomatoes, watermelons, and egg plant, this year she noticed these plants (weeds) and doesnt want to pull them as she is unsure what they are.  The mystery plant is approximately 5 foot 5 inches tall and has grown 2 foot in the last 2 weeks.  Does anyone know what it is?

We watered it took care of it and it turned out to be a thistle standing 5 feet tall. It was heck trying to remove it from the ground. I finally poured hot water over it and it died within 24 hours.

Saw a new ones just sprouting and out they came. Posted: 10:33 pm on June 4th
