A classic hosta complements a garden ornament

Out of all the hundreds and hundreds of hosta varieties in the world, only a few keep popping up over and over because they're timeless stunners. 'June' is one of those hostas. You can see why in this photo. It's the perfect thing to make this pot look its best in this shady planting. With it are the shiny little, ground hugging leaves of European wild ginger (Asarum europaeum, USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8) and the arching stems of variegated Solomon's seal (Polygonatum odoratum 'Variegatum', Zones 3-8). Once again, this awesome hosta is growing in Eve and Per Thyrum's garden in Wilmington, Delaware.
