An April walk along our garden path.
I see nothing but blue sky through crabapple blossom-colored glasses.
The daffodils march up the hill, through the vinca blossoms.
Tulips share the stage with violas in our early Spring garden.

Our on-going renovation of our garden in East Lansing, Michigan began when we bought the house 4 years ago.  Then, there was nothing in our backyard but scrub honeysuckle and buckthorn.  But slowly, we've brought structure to the space with flagstone paths, retaining walls, a gazebo and a garden shed.  And many, many plantings.  We never forget to add planting spring bulbs to our list of fall chores, as they inspire us with their beauty every year.
