Containers by Deanne Fortnam, Part 4
comments (4) January 28th, 2011 in blogs
One last day of awesome containers from Deanne Fortnam! This is one of my personal favorites. Deanne says, "This is another arrangement from my container border. It uses the pizzazz of the complementary contrast between red-violet and yellow-green. The plants in this arrangement are, starting in the lower right corner and moving clockwise, ‘Trailing Garnet Robe’ coleus, golden creeping Jenny (Lysimachia nummularia ‘Aurea’, USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8), ‘Vancouver Centennial’ geranium (Pelargonium 'Vancouver Centennial'), ‘Diane’s Gold’ coleus, ‘Mrs. Pollock’ geranium (Pelargonium 'Mrs. Pollock'), ‘Religious Rutabaga’ coleus, ‘Gardenmeister’ fuchsia, red fountain grass (Pennisetum setaceum 'Rubrum', Zones 8-11), ‘Mahogany Giant’ coleus, and ‘Lemon Meringue’ coleus. The orange arrangement behind this one shows ‘Sedona’ coleus, ‘Mrs. Smallwood’s Drive’ coleus, and ‘German Pearl’ fuchsia." It's been a great week, Deanne - you are truly talented. Thanks for sharing your containers with us!
