READER PHOTOS! Wildlife in a California garden
comments (6) December 27th, 2010 in blogs
A couple of weeks ago, I asked you to send in photos of wildlife in your garden, and Pam Wittenberg from Santa Rosa, California, had a bunch to share! She says, "Here are some pics of the wildlife in our garden. We, too, get hawks feeding on the songbirds in our garden. There's one pic of a hawk feasting up in a tree. They get very mad when we watch them too much and glare at us from the creek! I just hope they don't grab any of the baby turkeys that visit our yard. I also included some more common visitors - a baby possum, a few proud turkeys, an orb weaver spider with his honeybee meal safely stored away, a recently molted cicada hanging out on a Tiarella blossom, and a teeny tiny snail in the late afternoon sun." Thanks, Pam, for sharing your visitors with us!
