Monster Plant I can't figure out what it is?!?!
comments (5) September 7th, 2010 in gallery
This plant has been growing at my dad's for about 3 years and 2 years ago was completely chopped below the ground in order to kill it. In about a year, it grew to being over 2 stories tall with leaves on it that measure 2 feet in diameter! The leaves are soft and fuzzy but the plant doesn't seem to produce anything. It reminds me of a giant beanstalk from the children's book. It would be great to identify this beast so I know how to care for it. My dad started 2 smaller versions of it for me to plant in my yard and I am finally ready to put them in the ground. What is it though? Anyone know?
