This giant grows near our new house. I think, this is some weed, but don't know exactly - very curious!!

Havenwood writes: I have volunteer Sycamore seedlings that come up around my barn that look just like that. If you cut it back at the base and it re-grows it will be more recognizable. Margrreet writes: A first year Paulownia tree grows fast with leaves the size of dinner plates. A mature tree resembles a catalpa, without the "cigars", and with beautiful clusters of lavender blooms in the springtime. Given its location, if that's what this is,I'd have to consider it a weed. Unless you want a newer house. ;o)
