A view from the peony border of my old garden, designed by me in East Harwich, Cape Cod, MA
Another view of the peony border with Ladys Mantle, alchemilla mollis showing its clouds of tiny flowers.
Rear border of my past garden in East Harwich, Cape Cod, MA.  This border contained bee balm, daisies, stipa gigantea ornamental grass, drumstick allium, Ladys Mantle, peony foliage, and more.
This is a view of the same border but at a different time, with lilies and bee balm stealing the show.
This photo was taken on the north side of the house, where I planted Acer Palmatum Filigree with Ladys Mantle, Hosta, Coral Bells.  This was early in the season.  On the right of the photo is a border of Emerald Green Abrorvitae which makes a beautiful screen or backdrop.

These photos depict the rear property of my past garden, designed by me (one photo is on the north side of the property).  The peony and iris border also contained Stipa Gigantea, an ornamental grass that somehow did manage to survive a couple of seasons in my zone 6 garden.  The border in the rear of the picture contained Nepeta "Six Hills Giant" and an assembly of various rugosa roses.
