I'm hoping that someone can identify this perennial for me.  It is growing in my very sunny yard (zone 5) and came to me from my Mom who split it off.  She doesn't know what it is either as it was planted by the previous owners of her home.  Any suggestions would be most welcome!!  Thanks in advance!!

easily identified in the garden - pull out where you don't want it. Posted: 6:36 am on June 6th

Ironic - planting perennials (or biennials,as I now know in this case) so that they come back up and then working to keep them from taking over!! ;) Posted: 5:32 am on June 6th
KariLonning writes: it's Evening Primrose. Be careful where you plant it because if it's happy, it'll SPREAD. Posted: 1:36 am on June 6th
