Dressing up a staircase
comments (0) April 14th, 2010 in blogs
At Filoli in California, this simple concrete and brick staircase is dressed up and defined by a seasonal display of potted tulips. This is a great way to liven up a bare area of a garden in spring before perennials and shrubs begin to fill in. In fall, pansies or mums can serve the same purpose.
