I've spent hours online trying to figure out what this plant is. It keeps leaves year round. I have never seen it flower. I'd like to know what it is so I can take excellent care of it, so any help identifying this plant would be appreciated!

It stands just under 3 ft right now, and hasn't grown in height much since I got it from someone at a yard sale (it was root-bound in a 1 gallon pot) about 3 years ago.

Location: Portland OR (zone 7-8ish)

Nandina domestica filamentosa. Google search brings up tons of information. Apparently it's not very common, one of those 'conversation piece' types, which fits in really well with my yard and garden.

Now to go read up on care, feeding and spreading the joy (a few neighbours are as curious as I am).

Thanks again janederick! <3 <3 Posted: 11:46 pm on March 27th
