Sometimes it's tricky, pairing plants with a stunning, highly decorative pot, but the horticulturists at Cranbrook House and Gardens in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan seem to know what they're doing. The ornamental cabbage in this container planting is the perfect match for the intricate pattern on this spectacular terra-cotta vessel.

arboretum writes: and what I think is so cool is the granite masonry work and design under the pot! sidewalks can be artistic decorative surfaces but that is rarely recognized in the States. This pattern really adds alot to an otherwise boring brick expanse! Posted: 2:15 pm on March 19th
