the old landscape timbers had to go! we planted some roses and perennials here but they didn't fit. Deciding to start over we soon figured we would enjoy herbs, veggies and flowers near us off the front porch. Found a source for extra unwanted block, found a few old manure piles, some peat, etc. Put in soaker hoses, attached to a rain barrel and let it grow. We had huge crops of tomatoes, melons on the side areas, cukes up the pool fence...and a never ending show of butterflies and birds.

Most of all I really admire what you did using the spacing as planters instead of capping them off. Posted: 12:43 pm on July 23rd
