Autumn waiting by the flower garden

Autumn was waiting patiently as I photographed the roofers replacing our hail damaged roof in July 2009...then three days later we had a killer hail storm and the roof had to be replaced again!  Our flower garden was totally flattened, but managed to recover...although the plants were all miniature as they came back with the short remaining growing season.  Waiting for this spring to see how well everything survived.
