Comarish59 writes: 1st picture-lavender/violet blooms is torenia fournieri aka wishbone flower
2nd -orange/white blooms is impatiens walleriana
3rd+4th- OK, this one has me stumped for the moment
5th- Definitely a lantana. Probably lantana camara but if it has spines, then lantana achyranthifolia. Posted: 4:29 am on June 15th
Cubkin writes: The first one, the blue one, appears to be a torenia. The second one, the red & white one, is an impatiens, while the fifth picture, the pink one, is a lantana. I don't recognize the 3rd and 4th - it resembles too many different plants. In Michigan, all of these are grown as annuals only, since they aren't winter-hardy. Posted: 8:03 pm on December 28th
plantiful writes: This plant is a torenia.Generally sold in nurserys as something called clown mix in colors of deep purple, pink and pale purple or blueish with white and a tiny bit of yellow. They have miniscule seeds that are carried on the wind and will come up in unexpected places. They can also be purchased online or in the HPS catalog in a yellow and white variety. You can collect the seed for replanting. It is neither a variety of impatin or lantana. You can sow in fall from seed mixed with sand and also looks good around water features or in hanging baskets. Posted: 12:17 pm on December 27th
N2Outdrs writes: RRamitha, this is an Impatiens plant. Soft and herbatious. In California it's treated as an annual but can be cutback and given a shot of fertilizer and will come back as a perrenial. Posted: 11:27 am on December 20th
N2Outdrs writes: Ramitha, I believe this is a Lantana. The flowers come in all colors. Bees and butterflies love them. This plant has a very pungent odor when you touch it. Lantana comes in forms that are "trailing" to "mounding" Posted: 11:25 am on December 20th
