Morning Breaks with Fresh Snowfall

Photo: Maryellen Lachanski

I ran ouside while making breakfast early on December morning to catch the sun coming up & oh what a glorious sight it was! The snow outlined the landscape in an utterly beautiful way. My yard is almost always filled with critters of all kind & this particular morning not a creature was stirring! I have close to 20 birdhouses & two houses with resident squirrels. I guess everyone was still fast asleep!
