These borders were designed and planted by me in my former garden in East Harwich, Cape Cod, MA.  I love ornamental grasses and use them extensively.  Shrubs such as Pieris "Brouwer's Beauty," red twig dogwood (Cornus Alba Elegantissima), Hinoki Cypress, Japanese Maples all played roles in my garden.  Sedum, phlox, many perennials were incorporated into the borders.  All the borders here were photographed in autumn.
