Crocus speciosus pops up in many parts of the garden, often staying in bloom until December. The purple ones are more prolific than the white, popping up in a seemingly random fashion to offer nice little surprises.

Azaleas provide interesting fall foliage, a stark contrast to the green of the rhododendrons nearby.
