Nasturtiums in the snow

I find autumn to be one of the most magical times in a New England Garden.  It is at this time of year that I especially cherish the last brilliant hues of each flower. This year an unexpected early snowfall came before the first hard frost and left the nasturtiums and calendula wearing little suits of snow.  A rainy afternoon photo foray also afforded a wonderful glimpse into my Montessori classroom garden.
