Gardening in Upstate NY, way way Upstate
comments (0) September 27th, 2009 in gallery
I live and garden in far upstate NY. I have a lot of shade so I rely heavily on shade tolerant plants. I don't let this deprive me of color and interest in my gardens as I hope you agree. We have long cold winters with a heavy snow load, so my plants are hardy. I do medium maintainence gardening, thus my beds are fully planted and I encourage naturalizing, but not aggression. I hope you enjoy the choices I have made.
