Late season cabbage looks like it was down-wind of Chernobyl and grabs the attention of all who visit the garden.
Captivating combination in my nursery bed taken in mid-September by my gardener and photographer extraordinaire, Marian Grayson
Another nursery bed moment....
Whoda thunk cabbages could command such attention?

I love to intersperse red cabbages throughout my garden for definite punch. Not only do they grow to gargantuan proportions, the iridescent color causes visitors to inquire if they are real.  Not bad return on a spring purchase of a two pack of seedlings from the local hardware store!
