Luscious Succulent Loves : )

I love succulents because they lend color and structure to my Northern California garden throughout the year.  I especially love the dark ones in these limited palette, tapestry-like combinations.  I have included photos to show how they can work in a "hot"-color garden or a more peaceful one as well as in sun or part shade.  (The little guys at the very edge of the terrace in the photo with the Bromeliad are basically in full shade! and pale but happy after three years.)  Once I figured out which ones freeze, I have found them far more adaptable and forgiving than expected living happily alongside my standard garden plants.  Enjoy!
