The Salvia 'Mystic Spires', 'Black and Blue' salvia, and 'Powis Castle' artemisia in our birdbath garden have been putting on this show for the last 6 weeks.

GardenDave writes: It's been overrunning the salvia all summer. I bought the artemisia as a small pot in the spring and its about 5 feet around now. It's not a big deal since the salvia can rise above the artemisia. I kind of like how the artemisia envelopes the salvias. 'Powis Castle' with 'Mystic spires' much like a castle. Bonnielou writes: Does your Artemisia ever get so big that is runs over your Saliva? Or do you cut it back a lot. Mine can grow wild looking and huge. Posted: 7:20 pm on September 14th
